Post Office Savings How can I find Statements for Closed accounts?

Hi I have closed a number of Post Office savings accounts over the past tax year and now have to fill in a Tax Form.
I can't seem to access my online tax statements for the closed accounts ~ any ideas please?

Go to Statements at the bottom of the web page and click on the entry for each year. You may find them there.

Thanks, I can't seem to find my closed accounts. It works perfectly for the open accounts though.

sadly this has been my experience too. it is very annoying if you forget to download all your transactions before closing! but the postoffice is not alone in this. many other savings account providers do it as well, like for example the coventry, (or at least that has been my experience) whereas the skipton for instance does let you view closed accounts. frustrating, to say the least.

One of the reasons I always leave £1 in the account until I have the tax cert instead of closing
  • I might need to see if I can get copies sent by post. I have a tax form to fill in so I really need to get it right.
    thanks for the help
