2017 Peugeot 308 SW - High miles - worth it?

I've seen a 2017 Peugeot 308 SW Active BlueHDI with 105,000 miles for sale at a trader for £4,800.
Is it worth buying a 2017 car with such high miles or am I better off buying an older car with lower miles?
It had MOT til next Jan and has full service history (stamped book).

4yo car, 105k isn't ridiculously OTT - a little over 25k/year.
At least you know it's unlikely to have the usual low-mileage DPF issues... Quick look at Autotrader suggests the price is about right for the mileage and age.
How many miles a year are you looking to put on it?1 -
It's not the miles it has done that counts but how those lies have been done. I wouldn't be over concerned by 105k. At east it means you shouldn't have DPF issues

I'd probably be doing less than 10K miles a year. I'm waiting to hear back from the trader to see if the timing belt has been done or not before I go and view. (the internal photos are a bit blurry.)0

Don't buy a modern diesel, then.Deleted_User said:I'd probably be doing less than 10K miles a year.1 -
If the OP is driving from Manchester to Birmingham on Monday, and back again on Friday, and has lots of stuff to carry each time, it could work out ok.AdrianC said:

As well as timing belt factor in a DPF replacement, they don't last forever.0

Asked the trader but all they said was it is an ex lease car and that it's 'probably' been done.0
-
Well, it does not have a "full service history" if they don't know what has or has not been done.0
