hi need some doctrs advice

planning on phoning doctors on monday, but cant wait.

just found out that i am pregant, was not planned and was being careful, but the thing is over the last month i have been going to the gym about five times a week and working hard at over 150 beats per min. been doing some research and it states that you should not exercise over 140 beats per min.
i am now woorried that i may of done some harm. oh just diid test today, am three days late.

    i wouldn't think you have done any harm as your only just pregnant (if indeed you are at all) go to the docs just to confirm it.

  • I think it would be very difficult to do harm to something that is just "a seed".

    I don't know ... but I wonder if the advice is to do with the larger embryo and the way it attaches itself to the .....? womb? God, at my age I should know how our bits work, but I'm ashamed to say I don't.

    I do know one thing though .... you will drive yourself crazy with fear and doubt - SO DON'T!!!! Please, please, please ...... do not dwell on this. Please busy yourself with other thoughts or (gentle) actions today and wait until you can see your GP.

    Self doubt and "the mind" is life's worst enemy - as I know to my cost. Talk to your partner; make some plans; be happy and excited. Don't beat yourself up - please. Just don't "go there".
    Warning ..... I'm a peri-menopausal axe-wielding maniac ;)

    If This Was Your Usual Workout Then Your Fine To Carry This On Until To Big Maybe Be A Bit More Careful With Types Of Machines I Did A 1000 Sit Ups A Day Right Through Until 36 Weeks And Was Fine Fitted Straight Back In My Jeans That Night
