F1rst Parking

Hi. Just being honest here. I parked in a car park on my university campus (Aston) in a car park that’s usually permit holders only. The car park usually has barriers so you can’t enter unless you know the pin, however there is a Covid test site in the car park which blocks the entrance so the only way in is via the exit and that’s open to all as it’s never down to allow entry and exit via the same barrier. I usually have a unofficial permit (photocopy) which I usually get away with in my own vehicle which is currently at the garage. The vehicle I got the ticket on, I am not the registered keeper for as it’s my mums car. I don’t want no letters getting sent home on her name as parents don’t understand how these private parking tickets don’t mean anything. I know there are aggressive companies out there that fight these tickets before anything even gets sent out to your address. How would I fight it like this? Do I have any reasonable grounds to fight it? Thank you.

Sorry you are mistaken in your assumptions.
A PCN can be enforced so should never be ignored.
The NEWBIES thread on the forum front page gives all the info that you need to understand the game (scam) you are now playing.

I usually have a unofficial permit (photocopy) which I usually get away with in my own vehicleYou're playing with fire, and seemingly have now got burnt! We don't condone the fabrication of permits to blag free parking.I'm afraid this is your mother's case to defend unless she names you as the driver, via the Transfer of Liability section on the reverse side of the Notice to Keeper when she gets it or if it's only at the windscreen ticket stage right now, you can write to the PPC and appeal directly in your own name. Then you follow the advice in the NEWBIES FAQ sticky, first post to commence the appeals process.First Parking have become litigious and are issuing court proceedings frequently now, but you will know how to deal with one of those, same way as the one we helped you with last year against Walton Wilkins, but you didn't see it that important to let us know how that one turned out! Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

If she does receive an NTK PCN , she can name you as driver
First will reject any appeal , so don't expect a cancellation , it is not going to happen
If your WW one is less than 6 years old , you can expect an LBC followed by a court claim2 -

DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
