Rotary Line Hole Too Small

Hi all,
The house I bought had a pre-existing hole for a rotary line however the hole is some 35mm and my new line is 50mm in diameter - I'd like to use the same hole but just cannot find an expansion adaptor (if indeed they exist). Is my only option to dig a new hole?
thanks.

You tend to get universal adapters for ground spikes that are too large, not the other way around. Yes, you'll need to dig it out and fit a new one.CinderKona said:Hi all,

Although the screw spike pictured above are easier to install I find the ones, such as the Brabantia spikes, that you hammer into the ground more stable in the long run.1 -
Is it in concrete?I am not a cat (But my friend is)1

I would concrete in a new one, you can't get an adaptor to enable a larger diameter to sit on a smaller fitting. We have thebrabantia one but even that took on quite a dramatic tilt following a period of heavy rain, followed by strong wind with a fully loaded rotary line.1
