    I don't think it's possible to overemphasise what Mickey666 has posted. The temperature feel of a surface will be very influenced by the conductive properties of that surface itself. Your body temperature is 36C and your room is likely to be somewhere around 20, so the floor surfaces in your property are always going to be 'stealing' heat from your skin when you touch them.

    You can have great underlay underneath your flooring (and that will help a lot, by keeping the surface of the flooring close to room temperature rather than lower) but the thermal conduction of the floor itself is also important.
