Can't find a 50cm width electric oven

Hi people!
Our built-under gas oven has stopped working (a Bosch).
I can't find a replacement as the space is only 56cm, so the max width we could get is 50cm to allow for ventilation.
The standard width is around 60cm, and the only 50cm i can find are freestanding cookers with hobs attached.
Which would mean cutting up the counter top which would kind of mean a major piece of work...
Where can I find a 50cm width electric oven?
We'd love to do a kitchen remodelling but have no money right now.
Any other suggestions gratefully received!
Thanks
Lesley

Are you measuring the internal width of the oven housing ?
A standard 600mm housing would be about 560mm internally...
What is the model number of your current oven ?

I would be surprised if your current oven isn't 60cm wide.  Perhaps google the existing code and check the official dimensions?

  • Hi Free bear and JGB1955!
You were both right.  The old oven IS 60cm at the top, and 54cm below that.
Many thanks for your prompt help!
