I never authorise auto renewal - did have an arguement with Hastings who insisted they wanted payment as I had not contacted them - this was at the start of Covid last year and I gave up ringing them after sitting for hours listening to crap music.As I pointed out when I finally did get through to them I had it in writing from them acknowlledging that I did not authoerise auto renew when I took out the policy.0
