Fire stick problems

Having issues with fire stick and before buying new one wanted to run my thoughts through here
its very slow and keeps buffering or dropping internet connection completely and say not connected. I’m assuming it’s more fire stick problem as I can stream through the iPad without any problems at all. I have restored to factory settings etc

Did it work once? have you changed something? Where is it located in relation to the router - tucked around the back of the telly and screened by it? what sort of power supply has it got?
TRy using an extension for the HDMI so it's not hiddent away.Never under estimate the power of stupid people in large numbers0
