Financial association with ex partner on closed account

Dear Team members,
me and my husband (adverse Credit rating) had some joint accounts long time back and now i had just seen that there was an financial association with him and have contacted Equifax for the removal which they have done (just couple of days back). But my question is Even after removal of his name my brokers says the i still have a adverse credit..
My score is excellent in check my file (880) and 711 in equifax (while he was my associate). But after removal i have not seen any improvements and also i still think somehow there is flag in the equifax backhand server (albeit the FA has been removed) which is prompting for adverse credit rating.
Am i right if so What do i need to do?0 -
You really should start your own thread, rather than resurrecting one that's 4 years old.Your score is entirely irrelevant since it's a made-up number seen only by you. You need to focus on the factual data contained in all 3 of your credit files. Check that all the data are correct, and see if there are any negative markers recorded against you.Remember that the CRAs don't give you a credit rating. They simply hold the raw data, and sell it to lenders who will make up their own mind, based upon your credit and financial circumstances as compared to their own individual lending criteria.1
