PRC House advice needed

Hi there,

I've had an offer accepted on a house but I didn't know anything about PRC Houses until now. The house has a certificate issued in 2002 by the City of Plymouth Building Control manager at the time. The bank I am getting the mortgage from are happy with the certificate but I have some questions about it still. I hope you'll be able to help me.

-Once the certificate is issued, does it mean that the house is considered a normal house?
-If the repairs done on these houses are correctly done, Do they last long?
-The one I am buying is a Cornish Type 1, the one that had the concrete panels just on the ground floor. On this particular model, Do they just break up where the panels were or does the work involve rebuild pillars or something else too?

I would really appreciate any help with this thank you so much.
