eBay relisting question
Comments
-
Have now managed to turn on bulk re-listing - you have to swutch to the new seller hub.
There will either be a link on the selling page to do this, or this link
http://www.ebay.com/sellerhub
Once switched, 'selling' shows the new layout including the ability to bulk re-list1 -
Absolute nightmare.
What the hell have ebay done??
Been using ebay for decades - but cannot make head or tail of what they have done to mytebay.
Tried to relist something tonight - but cannot, because it tells me I will "Exceed my selling limit." !!
What selling limit ?????
Never known I have ever had a selling limit before......
Who decided I should have a selling limit, and who decides what it is?
Does ebay no longer want to earn money from the sales I make?
Utterly mental.
Does anyone have a phone number or email address which actually connects to a human being.
Been having increasing problems trying to communicate with ebay in last few years.
Anyone recommend an alternative selling platform?
I keep getting emails from facebook, and adverts on tv for various alternative sites.....
Just want something SIMPLE and STRAIGHTFORWARD to use, without this utter nightmare I am now faced with by ebay.0 -
There has always been selling limits and they are visible if you look at your selling overview (under all selling on old view or hub if on new view). That limit depends on both length of selling history , current status and value of sales. It might even be because you’ve been invited to managed payments and haven’t yet signed up. The limit is both number of item and value.The_Old_Bag said:Absolute nightmare.

to contact ebay just go through help and contact us, choose random reasons for calling until you get either a direct telephone number or a live chat link. I find ebay much easier to contact now than they used to be and rarely wait for more than a few minutes to get answered.
As for other selling venues, Facebook marketplace works quite well for me (it is very up and down though and very time consuming) but not everyone has access.p, it’s worth a try. Apart from that there isn’t any direct online auction site that matches ebay, so it’s a case of phone apps and things really.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. On my little used private account which I opened in about 2009 my limits are:
You can sell up to 200 items or £10,000.00 per month, whichever comes first
I suspect it is low because the account isn’t used a lot , I think the most I’ve ever had on there in one go is around 50 and that’s unusual.I still suspect the blanket ‘you can’t list’ message might be connected to the need to sign up for managed paymentsI’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
