They may not have been at the time the OP booked though. If you read the article it says they moved to Spain and withdrew from the ATOL scheme, when previously they were in the ATOL scheme.

But they will now be within the Spanish equivalent, which as (at the time) it was all under the same legislation doesn't mean there is a loss of rights. EU agencies largely have access to the UK market still as a result of the trade deal, so it was a sensible planning move.

I was going to post the link that EPM posted. There are strict deadlines on this. Czech are not legally bankrupt at this stage I believe, but there is unlikely to be much money to recover.
