Startup business terms

Hi All,

I was looking for some advise as i am thinking about starting up a business and have found some business terms of a competitor which  are very similar to the terms i am looking to create.

Does any know if i am able to use their terms by altering and rewording for my  business?

It is always advised that you should get a legally qualified person to look over t&cs.  There is also scope here of having repercussions from your competitor or someone else who holds the copyright.
Some trade sectors have organisations that may be able to help.  A friend runs a children's nursery and pays an annual fee to belong to some organisation that offers advice and insurance.  They also offer a template t&cs that members can freely use.

In addition to martindow's excellent advice, if you copy someone else's T&Cs,, you may inadvertently be using ones which are unfair or contravene consumer rights
