Query on roundabout lane
Comments

I would say change lanes as you pass the second exit but overall its just a terribly laid out junction and asking for collisions!Sea_Shell said:Going by those markings, at what point would you change lanes if you entered from the top, in the right hand lane and wanted the 4th exit?
In quiet traffic it's not a problem, but if busy and all lanes are full, could be tricky.1 -
Glad we don't see roundabouts like this where we live.0

Which twit (or twits) designed it and still couldn't see any forthcoming issues with it?1

No - the left lane on entering the roundabout is marked left-turn into Hillcross Ave, so you would join the roundabout into the middle lane which, after passing Hillcross becomes the left one..nnewtoarea said:Hi all,
Query on roundabout position. Just need to check if I am doing it correctly.
following the yellow arrow direction, for the roundabout I start in the left lane and then turn left in the 3 rd exit. Am I in the correct lane.

As you enter the roundabout, lane 1 is for Hillcross Av (left) To get to your exit, you should be in lane 2 (middle) or lane 3.0

There is no
middle lane. Anyways have started taking a different route as it’s a very busy roundabout as well.0 -
There is (briefly) three lanes as you join it, so you are going straight across into the 'middle' lane as you join it.nnewtoarea said:There is no

Then staying in that lane all the way round (and it changes into being the left hand lane anyway).0
