Property investments with crowdtolive

Hi all,
I'm new here and wanted to ask if anyone knows crowdtolive.com.
A friend of mine suggested this platform to invest in property. Seems like a good option because I shouldn't be managing the property or tenant.
I usually get a mortgage, buy the property and rent it. The problem I have now is that with too many properties I need to hire a property manager because there are too many things to deal with.

I would like your feedback.
Thank you.

You would be paying someone else to do it. So returns reduced.
You would also have no FSCS protection and the investment fund is illiquid.

I thought like you, but there are no direct management fees, I just have to pay a one-time fee of 3% to invest the money which I think is ok.0

I know nothing about them. Would this be who you are thinking of?

Is this the first one you know about or have you taken steps to obtain a shortlist of property managers?
For example have you tried googling " how to find a good uk property management firm" and see what turns up.

I'm sure it is. Why would you say otherwise.adaminvestor86 said:I thought like you, but there are no direct management fees, I just have to pay a one-time fee of 3% to invest the money which I think is ok.

They are not property managers, but they sell property investments with a 5 year ast contract, so I am not involved in managing or renting properties, which is very good for me (maybe most of us).
I need to investigate further. I'll call them tomorrow.0 -
Adam - just be aware that a new poster popping up to highlight a potential investment 'opportunity' that is both unregulated and somewhat niche; is likely to be regarded with a little bit of scepticism around these parts. And that's the most diplomatic post that anyone's likely to see from me this week

You did not make it clear in your post that you wanted to invest in property via company and not directly.
Can I ask why are you not looking to invest via established an REIT, but thinking of using a 3 year old company?

Thank you and if it wasn't clear I apologize. This is exactly my intention, to invest in property via companies but for now I'm just getting more information on the best way to do it.Eyeful said:You did not make it clear in your post that you wanted to invest in property via company and not directly.

I am also considering investing via a REIT. Any suggestions on this?

I suggest that you with your large number of properties seek the advice from a qualified independent financial adviser rather listening to a friend or seeking assistance on this or any other website.
