I can understand why you are frustrating frustrated having spent a long time populating your thread, if this ever happens again and I am not in my current position, I do know where I will come for advice.
Well it won't happen again will it, because you now know all about the scam, so do not park where you shouldn't and, if you use a car park, make sure you stick to the terms and conditions.  Always carry a few coins in your car, keep a blob of blu-tack (other sticky plasticine type materials are available) for preventing tickets from "fluttering "and never go out without your wallet/credit card/phone!
I didn't go out looking to not park where I shouldn't. As soon as I read the badly placed board, I hopped back in to my car and drove off. For the sake of 1-2 minutes they slapped on a charge. I have done a brief search and it seems that many people have been caught in this exact spot in Birmingham. It seems like a deliberate attempt to entrap people.
In which case you had a perfect defence.  I cannot believe that any parking firm would employ entrapment <Add Sarcasm Smiley>>

The Gladstones LBA letter is claiming for a fake £60
Gladstones know this and they think you are a mug and indeed a court.

It is indeed incredible to read the reason ...."the £60 is the time/resources spent by their client"

I think I heard that Gladstones are lawyers ?   how pathetic to quote such rubbish when the Supreme Court ruled the ticket price included operational costs

Whoever writes this rubbish for Gladstones needs to carefully read the ruling in the Beavis v Parking Eye case

In a nutshell they are scamming you and as you need to respond to a LBA, deny any debt and ask them to provide you with proof of "the £60 is the time/resources spent by their client"

CLUE:  The debt collectors used by Euro offer a "no win no fee" service.

The crunch time for Gladstones will be if they issue a court claim.  They then have to sign a statement of truth .... Telling lies to a court is contempt

Change is coming.  Too late for victims like you, sadly.  You should never have paid this scam PCN.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Be advised. it is very unlikely that this PPC is controlled by the Mafia, (but is is not impossible).

You never know how far you can go until you go too far.

Sorry to hijack this thread, but just thought it made more sense than starting an identical thread when I am in the same position as OP, the only difference being that I have already completed the SAR a year back and received all the info they had on me. I don't know how to proceed now?

To reiterate, I have a Letter before claim from Gladstones and a text and I really really don't want to pay the £160. Please can someone help a poor gal out and advise what I should do? To dispute the debt I have to go on their website and make an account?

Just a recap of my original post which is now closed:

Euro Parking service ticket in a permit zone

the driver was unloading the car opposite their house at the opening of a permitted road. In between the drivers multiple trips to the house during unloading, the parking enforcer snapped the car over a 10 minute interval. Btw this was in 2019!

    Help please :(

Please raise a new thread. You fight them. People on here will show you how.
