Energy Support Link
I've just received a very official-looking letter headed "Energy Support Link, GOV ECO, Energy Grant", re ECO Government Scheme & ECO Funding Department.. Apparently they have "relaxed the criteria to help qualify as many applications as possible", & I can now speak to a "funding advisor" on the telephone. Funding is in high demand & on a first-come first-served basis!
The letter is not signed, but in the small print it mentions Energy Saving Grants ltd [sic], whose last published statement of financial position showed £100 share capital & £100 net assets.
Hmm. Probably not so official after all, then. Methinks I will pass.

hi, I’ve just joined the forum and interested to know if anything came of this? My mum received the same letter and phoned them to arrange for work to be carried out. I didn’t like the sound of it and told her to cancel it. She’s not sure I did the right thing0
