This has already been replied to. The landlord is responsible for the bill and your contract states you are responsible for paying those costs therefore to your landlord. The bill makes it very clear it is the landlords responsibility and not that of any tenant they may have. So any late fees due to non payment are the landlordslezion said:Deposit payment was released by the renting agent yesterday. I asked LL for the CHP bill breakdown. Hopefully I can pay for the actually usage. Do you recon LL can do claim on my for not paying the late charges?
However, if these late payment fees are added by the landlord you need to check your contract and see if it allows him to add late payment fees after XXX amount of days after a deadline for payment to them.
Alternatively if they are added by the supplier does your contract allow for your landlord to recoup any late payment fees from you.
I've asked twice now what the late charges are as they don't appear on the bill you posted.0
