Morning, hugs if you need one. Gers, sorry to hear your Mum is not so well, you are doing a sterling job looking after her.
Picked up the car yesterday, it has a gizmo on the steering wheel to make it easier to move in a restricted space........interesting. I also found it very easy to let the speed creep up, need to watch that. I reversed the car into the space where we keep it, all of a sudden, it started to bleep........I was getting too close to the back of the parking space, made me jump!!
Nothing planned except to put all the gubbins into the car, waiting for a phone call from the Dr........the usual dreaded infection......really fed up it happens regularly.
Supper tonight is pork casserole with veg will sort out something for dessert.

Morning all.
Bright and cold here as usual and the remote possibility of a few light showers later. We could certainly do with some, I don't think I have ever had to employ the watering can in April before.
All my thoughts are with you Gers. This must be an awful time for you. Rest as much as you can and if you can, keep in touch. There are a bunch of people here who are with you in spirit and wrapping you round with care.
taff I have seen those queues and do wonder what the attraction of a daily paper is. I can get the news on the radio, as much as I want of it anyway, and only get a Saturday paper for the crossword.
TA, I'm with you on household items. To see me eagerly stocking up on sponges, cloths and sundry cleaning materials you would think that I was a domestic goddess and my home a shining shrine. You would be deluded. What I am really buying is the myth that somewhere out there is a product that will, without any effort from me, transform my poor house leaving it tidy, spotless and sweet smelling after its one and only application.
I don't know why the scientists haven't discovered it yet.

Hello all, we seem to have had some rain as the floor is wet outside. The garden was in need but I bet the weeds will love it more !I did shake myself yesterday and get out into the garden. I cut up the green waste into smaller pieces and filled 2 bins. Mr Fix It decided to do start the digging out and he managed about half an hour with a coffee break before I sent him in he gave up. He seems to have lost all his strength lately.I didn't sleep very well last night and feel a bit sluggish today but I must make some sausage twists for snacking, I found some leftover pastry in the freezer and those pesky sausages are breeding again, only 3 bags of them this time and I'm not counting the bag of cocktail ones either
Tea tonight will be a " throw it all in" stir fry.
Right better go and get dressed, I've already frightened the postman 😲Gers many hugs for you. I hope you can get some sleep.Take care all, stay safe.nan xxFailure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently14 -

Afternoon all,Later one from me as I've been busy typing up invoices for DH, At 7am no less, so he could take it to work! Dog walk was a bit late, but quieter on the park. We had a fairly heavy shower last night, pooch came in wet through after her last wee & sniff around - so did I. No watering today though.Gers, sending hugs to you & your DM. I hope she can be made more comfortable
. I have been taking inspiration from you with all your cupboard sorting, and doing my drawers upstairs - a fair few bits thrown already, mainly old hair products and sundry half used cosmetics that have dried up - I haven't been using much make up etc during lockdown!
I'd better get back upstairs- I came down for some dinner ( as we say up North) and left a tip upstairs.

Thanks so much for all the lovely thoughts - the district nurses have just left, they really are so kind, so with a bit of luck I'll get some sleep tonight. DM is snoozing so all is quiet.

Gers - Thinking of you and DM.
Shopping today - only saw 2 other sensible people while I was out - hat wearers. The wind was too cold for my bare ears.
