That’s fine, it’s a click and collect order. Obviously standard 2nd class only covers up to £30 if lost or damaged but that’s the same as sending it to a private address anyway.MX5huggy said:Buyer has given there Address as:-

Ok the address is of the actual Sainsbury’s will they pay a fee to collect the item? To Sainsbury’s?

As custardy has said it doesn’t cost the the buyer anything additional. Sainsbury’s get the item, scan the label or log the reference number (make sure you copy the address with all the codes exactly) and send a text to buyer telling them to collect. Buyer takes a copy of the text, with a different code sent generated by Sainsbury’s and collects the item.MX5huggy said:Ok the address is of the actual Sainsbury’s will they pay a fee to collect the item? Just so you know the Argos / Sainsburys click and collect can be turned off in your settings if you don't want to post to those addresses.
Some of the complications I had were special delivery items going to the wrong sainsburys. I guess because Royal Mail delivers so many in bulk. Also, Hermes was offered as a postage option for click and collect but I am not sure they are fully integrated into the system with barcodes etc.2 -
Just make sure the eCP code is included in the address or on the package! Without that code Argos system won't tell the buyer to collect it.
Also as always it is a good idea to have a return address.1 -
I definitely echo both of those points.jon81uk said:

I actually opted out of click and collect 2 or 3 Christmases ago when I had a high parentage of items not collected either because people didn't bother to collect, or because they had bought a few things and literally chose which ones to bother going ahead with. Each of those uncollected items was returned to me at no additional cost, but I did of course lose the outward postage.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
