Struggling for 90-day Trip Travel Insurance

I'm hoping someone could help, my family is planning to relocate to Central America in the coming months. We'll be entering on the 90 travel Visa, with a view to scouting out locations before (hopefully) finally settling.
Requirements for entry is that we have Health/covid insurance covering a 90 day period. I've got a couple of problems:
1) Though not totally certain, we're not intending to return to the UK (most UK policies are based on that proviso)
2) Any policies I can find have a 60 day per trip limit
Could anyone point me in the right direction? I've been round the houses, the only name that's come up so far is IMG but they seem to have terrible ratings!

Which country are you going to?
When we were looking at holidays last year before lockdown 2 we found a few countries required insurance but also sold you the insurance as an option.
Are you actually wanting insurance or are you wanting something that gets you entry? I know there are a couple of non-UK based travel insurers that are very flexible on durations, not returning etc but have some fairly negative reviews of actual claims... not a problem if its a box ticking exercise.0 -
Costa Rica Sandtree. It would be nice to have an insurer that pays but I guess that'd be asking too much!
In which case, I'm open to options...something missing0 -
The tourist board lists 3 local insurers that can provide cover, have you tried them?
