I am looking to invest with Abbey Wealth / RL360 for a tax wrapper investment fund. Just checking if anyone has good experience with them?

Abbey Wealth are agents of St James Place according to the FCA register.
cue the comments about SJP.....
I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0 -
First time I've heard RL360 mentioned on this forum, apart from when I've mentioned it. I've had investments held with them for more than a decade, and my experience has been OK. It's fine for buying and holding funds long term, although dealing costs are high compared with many platforms, and it may be overly expensive if you have a small pot. They do have a reasonable selection of funds (if you go for the PIMS account) including most of the better known funds, but also some funds you won't find on UK mainstream platforms (careful what you pick!).Having said all that, although they are OK, if I were starting out I'd probably go for a mainstream platform rather than RL360, if that was an option. I'd assume you have talked about it with an FA/IFA since you'd need a referral from one to open an account with RL360? At least that used to be the case.0

Thanks for the support. I have engaged some advice from Abbey Wealth as a Financial Advisor focused on Expats. They seem to be more switched on than other expat FAs... still haven’t found a strong recommendation other than Abbey Wealth from other expats.
I am looking for a long term tax efficient wrapper (investment for 15-20years) with ongoing financial advice through abbey Wealth. I am looking at the PIMS account.
If anyone has other recommendations, I’d be happy to listen. thanks for the advice0
