My Flexdirect current account ends today.
It was paying 5% on the first £2,500.

DAK what happens to the account next now the 5% ends?

I would’ve imagined Nationwide had contacted you about what will happen next, have they?

The account doesn't end, but if you've reached the end of the introductory interest rate period then the rate drops, to 1% I think for accounts opened just before the rate reduction was introduced....
