Avro Energy Statements
For the second month I have received no statements for either gas or electricity on my online account from Avro.
The are still taking my direct debit and showing the credit balance on my account page but no statements.
Waiting for a reply from them but it seems odd to have no statements

Just to be clear I have provided readings every month and these are recorded on the account.

Are you new to Avro?
I joined in January and am yet to receive a statement! Provided my readings each month. They claim it's due to my electricity* opening read not being validated by the Industry.
EDIT: electricity, not gas as first posted

I also joined in January and have not had a bill. I emailed them yesterday to find out what is going on as they are 3 working days over their service level to produce one. Will update when I hear back.bagand96 said:Are you new to Avro?

"Will update when I hear back."Good luck with that. It's taken them two weeks to answer an e-mail requesting a Direct Debit reduction.I only think they finally replied after I asked how to submit a formal complaint re their tardiness!0

Two exchanges of emails in the last hour - waiting for electric reading to be industry validated and has committed to chase it up. Clear gap in their standard business process but at least it's moving forward.oldagetraveller1 said:"Will update when I hear back."Good luck with that. Same boat then. I'm still convinced it's something to do with Avro. If there was an industry wide problem of delays to validating opening electricity readings then we'd have surely seen a few more reports on this forum across many suppliers?keithgawler said:

I changed to Avro approx June last year. I gave them my usage from the year before, I was with Eon £93 a month. They said for same usage they would charge me £72.56. Having been widowed I know i use much less energy being on my own. I submit a reading every month but never had a bill, it just showed when I logged in the total payments made.I had an email a couple of weeks ago saying my payments after May would be £93 due to price increases. I replied that I accept that energy is going up but can I have a bill. I got a reply friday, I am over £40 in credit (cannot recall exact amount) , and another payment of £72.56 is due out, so will be more ( I only sent reading a few days ago). I think that I will change to another supplier0

I am having the same problem joined in January and no bills. I can't really be bothered chasing it up as it's not my problem. It's clearly avros fault judging by these posts. Might just take it to resolver if I have the time.keithgawler said:

I unfortunately inherited avro when I bought my house 2 months ago. I gave them the meter readings and still waiting for them to set up account. I have rang them and Twitter message last week but no luck so far. I don’t want to end up with large bill by the time they get round to opening account for me.

Just to update, I’ve actually had 2 Avro statements today! One for January-March and then one for April. Everything was correct and in order.1
