So you have never actually been a customer with Symbio. The switch did not go through.falabella said:Not enough stress in your life? Try Symbio Energy! Absolutely frightful.
Earlier LAST year we had cut any future involvement with 'Look after my bills', or so we thought, as they were a joke.
BUT this year we found we had been switched to Symbio from Octopus Energy with whom we have been happy.
We emailed Symbio TEN TIMES telling them, in no uncertain terms, that we did not want to switch. They completely ignored us and went ahead. They now 'thank us for choosing Symbio'.
Can you imagine what it must be like as a customer with a bill problem? They will just ignore you.
We WILL stop this cowboy outfit from being our electricity supplier, if required by legal action, but it is a nightmare and very stressful when they just ignore our protests.
The impression is of a business that is run by one person in their bedroom!
Do NOT go near them - should have their licence revoked.
The more reviews I read the more I am convinced Symbio is one person in their bedroom.
Hopefully they will not be allowed to continue for much longer.UPDATE we have managed to stop the switch by telling 'Look after my bills' we will hold them responsible if this goes ahead. They managed to stop it - Symbio just ignored us.
But - 'Look after my bills' ignored us till we threatened legal action.

You relied on reviews? From Trust Pilot?
It is good that you have now learned by hopefully getting rid of LAMB.
That It is better to take control of your tariffs/switching yourself.
All you needed to do was contact Octopus and they would have stopped/objected to the switch.
No stress, no hassle, To you.
But perhaps you have now missed out on a truly memorable experience in your life?

Please, please everyone, DON'T use this company - my blood pressure is through the roof and I wished that I had taken my own advice to others and checked with Trustpilot etc first. It is scandalous that Martin has this company on his site but hopefully, eventually the regulator/ombudsman/SOMEBODY, will take action and expose what is going on here or they will go bust. Whatever you say, however accurately or constructively, they will accuse you of cyberbullying. They are cheap as far as unit cost, yes, but at what cost to your wellbeing?? At best their accounting is unfathomable, at worst they will keep money not owed by you and threaten you.0

Martin does not own this site.
Symbio has now been given a formal warning from Trustpilot about their replies to disgruntled customers.
But please rather than rant, let others know the actual reasons for your post?
At least then it will help others. The world is not ruined by the wickedness of the wicked, but by the weakness of the good. Napoleon0 -
Use a fixed DD and submit your meter readings on the last day of every month and you will never need to contact them until you switch away.

I think Symbio might not be a good supplier.

Based on Reviews and their shady actions
But.
They are cheap.
