Nottingham Special Saver Issue 8

The account matured on the 28th of February and I have been trying to withdraw the funds for some months now.
It is branch based, but we were still in lockdown then so I phoned and was told that if I post the passbook with a simple letter asking to send me a cheque, they will be willing to send one.
I did as the adviser suggested, but the cheque didn't arrive. After two weeks I phoned again and was told that the problem is that I moved the house since I opened the account and I need to send a credit card statement/council tax/utility bill as a confirmation of my new address. I pointed out that I have a LISA account with Nottingham linked to my new address, and the identity and address were verified during the opening process. Nevertheless, this wasn't sufficient, so I posted the credit card statement, and waited for another two weeks. The cheque didn't show up.
I phoned them again and was told that the cheque has been issued and posted, but seems to be lost by Royal Mail, so I need to sign a Cheque Stop Payment Form, post it back, they will stop the original cheque and issue another one. I received the Cheque Stop Payment Form (it was send to my new address and arrived), posted it back, and waited for a new cheque to appear.
The cheque hasn't shown up.
Any thoughts?
I receive all other correspondence as normal (credit/debit cards, cheques, bills, stuff, etc). I can of course repeat the procedure with the Cheque Stop Payment Form, but it appears I am running in circles.
I am some 50 miles away from the nearest branch and don't really want to travel.

Eventually I called them one more time a couple of weeks ago and was told the cheque went to my old address again. I got another Cheque Stop Payment Form, posted it together with a Credit card statement showing my new address and hooray! - received the cheque this time. Many thanks to Julie from the March branch.
