HCCF Hitachi Finance
Seems I've made an error in agreeing to double glazing recently, financed by HCCF Hitachi.
I called today to ask what I've be expected to pay to end the agreement early, on the basis that I could get a loan from bank 7.9% apr rather than 9.9% HCCF apr.
Seems HCCF front load interest, which I assume makes clearing with a lower rated bank loan, pointless.
mser;s agree
thanks

Front loading interest is illegal and has been for a long time.Like the majority of the credit products you seem to have, you don’t really seem to understand them.4

@Puddles83
never mind thankfully Hitachi provide reduced term example over 3 years, which is fine.

So why did you say you were "looking to get back on the housing ladder" (or words to that effect) the other month?Dandytf said:2 -
considering moving from current mortgaged property, though not going to happen as if I move it's going to be renting.y3sitsm3 said:

Double glazing on finance is probably THE most expensive way to replace ones windows, the price of the materials and labour are massively inflated, I know I used to work in that industry, not selling but installing and it's definitely not the mse way to do it.
Do yourself a favour, cancel it, find a local installer that uses a decent manufacturer, you'll save thousands.1 -
Well "getting back on the housing ladder" means you're not on it, i.e. you don't own a property.Dandytf said:
You really should be (a lot) clearer with your posts.4
