ONE CALL INSURANCE - CAR INSURANCE RIP OFF

1. They no longer take phone calls.
2. They calmed that I had not disclosed my wife's SP30 that she got in 2017. I was informed endorsements last for 5 years! When I informed them that on the Gov website the actually last 4 years they had no answer and claimed it was an insurance companies policy to charge for any endorsement for 5 years. For this they wanted an extra £57 from me!
3. I asked for the insurance policy which was not actually running until a week later to be cancelled as I wished to take my business else where. I was then informed there would be a £20 admin fee for this to be done.
This company is just a pure rip off. They get people to apply through cheap quotes then find ways to exploit more money from you. RIP OFF RIP OFF RIP

So you didn't answer a question correctly and it's their fault? If the question asked for any convictions in the last 5 years and you chose to answer incorrectly, how are they ripping you off? On the other hand, if they only asked about convictions in the last 3 years and then tried to charge you for one from 2017 then that would be a different story - which is it?All matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration, we are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively, there is no such thing as death, life is only a dream, and we are the imagination of ourselves.2

The only reason I contacted them was because I had no communication from them and the website portal said I had no insurance policy's with them.....However they had charged me for insurance that did not seem to exist! I think they had computer problems. Everything took an age to sort out.0

Update: I went through Money Supermarket to find cheap car insurance and no where on the details input page does it ask for details about endorsements. However I seem to recall it used to in the past!0

I'm not saying that will happen here and I know that not all comments are moderated but it makes sense to be careful about posting any comments which can be construed as libel and challenged in court. Not that I'm about to report but I would just advise caution because somebody else just might. Please note - taken from the Forum Rules and amended for my own personal use (with thanks) : It is up to you to investigate, check, double-check and check yet again before you make any decisions or take any action based on any information you glean from any of my posts. I think that you misunderstand the legislation regarding motoring convictions. The points remain on your driving record for 4 years, however, when the insurer asks for motoring convictions within a 5 year period, do you know what, that's actually what they mean. Such motoring convictions, legally, are disclosable for 5 years.
And in the interest of balance, conversely, drink driving convictions remain on one's record for 11 years, but also, aren't generally declarable after 5 years.
See https://www.gov.uk/guidance/rehabilitation-periods#rehabilitation-periods-table for full details
You should really take advice regarding your insurance requirements. Your comments are way off-beam, and it may be best that you have someone handle your insurance affairs for you to avoid future problems.
Good luck

Have you committed any driving offences or had any Fixed Penalty Notices in the last 5 years? If you don’t tell your insurer about previous offences, your car insurance may not pay out if you make a claim
Op I would politely suggest you retitle your wrong heading in your opening post.
And perhaps read / check any applications in future before making erroneous posts and comments.

General MSE rule of thumb. A thread started on a Monday stating Rip off is not. (if you don't include the OPs attempt to rip off the insurer)I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such.
