Lost Shares

Hi, Can anyone advise me on how I can trace shares I have in Booker Wholesale. I don’t have share certificate but do have a personal letter from the CO Charles Wilson dated 2007 stating the number of shares I had in the group at that time of the letter. I then left Booker Wholesale after 30 years of employment to pursue another career . I relocated so any communications sent out I did not receive. I have now tried to locate my shares & I am being informed by Booker Wholesale that they have my personal details but no shares are allocated to me on they’re records despite the letter from Charles Wilson stating what I had on file in 2007. Booker have said that the letter is not good enough proof of my shares & they have no details on they’re system.

Could anyone advise me on the above & the questions below.
Should Booker Wholesale have a reference number to locate the shares?
Are there any experts in this field I can contact?

The above has been going on for 18 months to 2 years so any help to resolve would be really appreciate.

Alan
