Has anyone used Car wow?

I've bought my last 2 cars through Carwow. I found it incredibly simple, and saved a fortune both times. First time, I travelled from Aberdeen to Wakefield to collect it. All went smoothly (total saving c£5500) Second time, we ordered a car from a garage just outside London, and the delivered it to us and collected our trade-in to drive back with.
Thoroughly recommend them. You have to be careful though, not every car is discounted. you could get 6 replies with 0% savings, depending on the make or model. It'll be alright in the end. If it's not alright, it's not the end....1 -
I've used them a few times and had some problems with quotes for new cars.
The discounts are more often on cars in stock, either within the dealer network or already built/imported.
If you build a new car with a few must have options or a certain colour, dealers tend to quote for cars in stock that might not have the options selected.
When it becomes clear you'll need a factory build, the discounts vanish.
Some manufacturers offer loads of factory options.
Others tend to offer a few different trims in half a dozen colours with very few factory options. So your chances of one in stock at a discount are a lot higher.
Last time (early 2020) I was looking for an auto hatchback, around Fiesta size.
Every Ford quote I got back I chased up and not one could match the couple of options for the price quoted and every one of them tried to push me into the top Vingale trim, even though I didn't want half of the stuff it came with.
Seat seemed to make a couple of different trims for the Ibiza in a few colours with very few factory options available, so they always had the chosen car in stock which tended to return the best results.
In the end I went elsewhere as I qualified for a discount via the Bluelight Card scheme, so I got a factory build with all the options I wanted (a couple for free) with an even bigger discount.

My mother in law just ordered a car. The local dealer was asking full retail initially. I got a CarWow quote at a £1500 discount and the dealer immediately matched it, which cut out all the haggling. I doubt if she would have got as good a price without CarWow.

Used it twice now - great tool for battering car dealers. Last car was an Evoque and they quoted us £450 on a PCP, CarWow got that model to £330. Dealer said 'well I suppose I have to match that'. Yes you do, the quote is from your dealership....'Just because its on the internet don't believe it 100%'. Abraham Lincoln.
I have opinions, you have opinions. All of our opinions are valid whether they are based on fact or feeling. Respect other peoples opinions, stop forcing your opinions on other people and the world will be a happier place.3 -

I went into the showroom and decided to buy as I thought the deal was a good one. I paid a £400 £500 deposit. That night, a mate asked if I'd ever tried carwow.
Too late by then as I'd signed up, but my curiosity got the better of me, and I created an account and spec'd up the car I'd just bought. Next day I got an offer from the dealer I'd just bought from - £3500 cheaper than I had just paid 2 days earlier!!
That's when it all kicked off...... long story. It'll be alright in the end. If it's not alright, it's not the end....1 -

Obviously I went back to the garage to see if they could match the new offer. They couldn’t, but they didn’t believe that the garage in Wakefield could actually deliver at that price and that I should check carefully that the car was identical. I phoned the Wakefield garage to clarify, whilst I was in the Aberdeen showroom. They confirmed everything, and I cancelled my order with the Aberdeen Honda garage. The real arguments started when they said I would not get back my “fully refundable” deposit. Long story short, I eventually did get it back, via a credit note (which I used to get a spoiler and chrome exhaust pipe cover. I had spec’d both of those on the Wakefield car, so gave them a call and tweaked the deal to remove these. When I collected the car, I took it to the Aberdeen showroom to have the items fitted)
so, £3.5k plus £2k, plus the £500 deposit refund and reduction on new spec it was £6k saving. I just sold that car in November 2020.It'll be alright in the end. If it's not alright, it's not the end....2 -
..I used Carwow to get a quote and took it to our nearest dealer and they matched it. Saved a lot of haggling. If they hadn't I would have gone with Carwow, but would have had to travel over 100 miles to collect it.

Yes, used it for my last car which was the first car I've bought from new (had previously always been through company car scheme). Saved an absolute fortune and picked up a Passat Estate 2.0 TDI SE Business for £21,960 (against list price of £30,550).
My local dealership couldn't get anywhere near matching it, even though it was ultimately from the same chain. They ended up delivering it via the same dealership so I didn't even have to travel to collect it....?!?
I will definitely be using it again for my next purchase1
