There is a telegraph pole down the road from us - that has been leaning at about 1 degree for the last 20 years - it has now started to lean at 2 degrees..
Is it worth reporting to Openreach or will they ignore it until it is at a greater angle or is the council the way to go ?

The pole does not cover my service and BT's website only allows you to communicate online as an account holder !Even online chat requires a BT accountI won't bother0

You need to report it to Openreach, not BT

Its still leaning and it hasn't fallen over, there is also an Openreach van parked very close to it.So if he hasn't done anything about it, I guess its ok.0

We have a pole in our front garden that has an official yellow defect sign on it that says it's leaning 9 degrees. It's dated 2012. Even if you report it I would hold my breath ...0 -

Even if you report it I would hold my breath ...I simply looked at it and lined it up with a house wall (that "should be" vertical and using a protractor measured 2 degrees - simpleThe problem is not the angle but the change in angle - and this one is getting worse0
