Recommendation for custom size internal fire rated doors for domestic purpose?

I need to purchase a few internal fire rated doors for a residential property. However, the height of the doors is non-standard. Howden's doors can be trimmed a little from the top and bottom but this isn't enough for the shorter height I require. Does anyone know where I can source reasonably priced FD30 doors to a custom size?

The cheapest price I can find is around £245 from https://www.safelincs.co.uk. This is about double the price of an equivalent Howden's FD30 door of standard size.

Any suggestions or thoughts?

What finished size do you need?  That information may help others to advise on suppliers.

I've got 5 doors in total which need a custom size, each one is probably a bit different by a few mm but they are all approximately 1940mm high. I think the width is a standard 762mm wide.

I'll be able to get exact measurements when the tile flooring has been laid so above is just a guestimate.
  • Since Grenfell tower the rules for fire doors are a lot stricter and installation should be certified.
You shouldn’t trim the top of a fire door as the information of the door is there, how much you can trim off the bottom is depending on the manufacturer spec sheet.
What style of door are you looking for?
Maybe, just once, someone will call me 'Sir' without adding, 'You're making a scene.'

Speaking to the Howden's store manager, he confirmed that their FD30 rated doors can be trimmed to a maximum of 2cm from the top and another 2cm from the bottom while still keeping their FD30 rating. This is the style and door I was keen on: https://www.howdens.com/joinery/doors/howdens-linear-white-smooth-moulded-door-obj-sku-family-6412934?skuId=DIM1460

I've Google searched and found a few places to order bespoke sized doors. However, they are all quite expensive and have a very very long lead time (up to 3 months in some cases). I'd rather go with a recommended company than to go with one that I think will be okay. Hence this post.

I've Google searched around and found the following companies that do custom sized fire rated doors:
    https://www.directdoors.com

Unfortunately, they all get their doors from an overseas supplier and thus it's 18 to 20 weeks lead time on getting the doors. Doesn't seem to be any speedier way on this. Also, all the standard sized doors they sell cannot be trimmed anywhere near as much as I need so seems like I have to go for a bespoke size door.

Anyone know of a company that manufacturer custom sized doors in the UK? As that'll certainly speed things up.
