Letter of Claim - BW Legal

Firstly, I want to say thank you for all the newbie advice. I have found this very helpful.
I recieved two letters from BW legal, the recieved the letter of claim. I have used the newbie board, I have written a SAR using the lagl beagles template to TPS. I will also use the advice to send an email to BW legal.
I tried complaining to PALs as it was given in a hospital. They where very unhelpful, as I was staff they won't assist me. This doesn't shock me, similar happened in another hospital in the local area and they refused to help too (this was in the news).
Is there anything else that I have missed?

Was the parking event pre or during Covid? There was Gov guidelines during lockdown (if that's appropriate to you). Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

It would help if I mentioned that this happened in 2017, probably shouldn't of ignored it and appealed at the time but my naivety clearly got the better of me.The hospital that I worked at provided a free parking permit to anyone who worked there, this included all parking (including patient parking).I will take your advice and email the car parking/estates team direct. Thank you0

So I have reviewed the contract between TPS and Singleton Hospital (Swansea). I have found from previous FOI requests that TPS deals wholly with PCNs. They recieve 40% of the PCN, which they use to pay TPS. I doubt the hospital will even help.Have you tried your Estates Management or Security departments (or whoever is responsible for car parking)?
I have also reviewed Google maps, to view the area I parked. I was parked on a double yellow line (there are signs to say DO NOT PARK - PRIVATE PROPERTY), plenty of others and I ignored this.
From street view there are other cars parked in the same place. This was from a few months before I got a PCN.
I'm at the point where I don't know whether I should just pay it? Or should I at least wait for the SAR?
I'm just a bit worried about producing an adequate defence if it gets taken to court0 -
How much are BWL asking for to settle? Do you know that for a single parking ticket the likely cost of you losing would be around £200.Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. They want £94 in total. £40 PCN and £54 debt collection fee0

Really? Show us the letter please. I do recall that TPS had low PCNs. What's the parking charge there now, do you know?
This (below facts) needs to go into your reply to BW Legal and ask them why their client thinks Hospital staff are fair game for very late court claims, to fill a gap in their finances caused by COVID, when Hospital staff are the very last people a decent firm would target. The hospital that I worked at provided a free parking permit to anyone who worked there, this included all parking (including patient parking).PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
