You're barely going to have to change gear for those 13k motorway stretches so it's largely irrelevant.
I've been doing 20K/year in a manual fine but it's mostly A roads/motorway but I haven't used an auto in maybe 15 years.

Back in the day I drove 35k miles p.a. for many years in a manual;...I’d have given my left leg to have had the choice of an auto.😀
