Dishwasher waste replacement

Any ideas what I can use to replace this T union that connects the dishwasher and washing machine waste pipes to the outside drain pipe. It's broken on the outside.

That's a bad setup. How the waste from either the D/W or the W/M doesn't find itself inside the other machine beats me.What diameter is the large pipe, the one that acts as a 'sleeve' through the wall? What does that look like from the outside, and how high off the floor is it?It's just wrong, in many ways.To answer your Q, tho', it looks like standard 22mm rigid plastic pipe with solvent fittings which is used for all sorts of things like water tank overflows, condensate pipe etc.Screwfix, Toolstation, Wickes - everybody - will stock it. The actual pipe size can vary if, for example, you get 'conduit' pipe instead, so it's worth taking an accurate measurement, or even the pipe itself with you.Don't forget that what you have there is 'wrong', tho'.Where's your kitchen sink? Could we have a look under there too, pleez?1

It's not mine, it's my dad's setup. The sink is on a different wall and too far from both machines0

How on earth does the waste flow - detergent and suds from one, and food slurry from t'other - not end up inside the other machine?!The 'sleeve' looks like a proper plastic waste pipe. What's happening on the outside wall? Any chance of drifting that sleeve out and replacing it with a new longer section of 'proper' waste pipe, ideally 1.5" diameter, but I guess 1.25" will do if the run is short. Then fit a U-bend on the inside, and a couple of hose connectors Tee'd into it?0

Judging by the current design a U-bend, most likely, isn't needed.Jeepers_Creepers said:Then fit a U-bend on the inside, and a couple of hose connectors Tee'd into it?

The current design isn't ventilated. Lawd knows what's happening on the outside - perhaps the 22mm pipe drops into a normal waste pipe there? But, man, how on earth do these appliances not back-fill?! :-(0
