I have received a parking charge notice for parking at my local Coop from Euro Car Parks for £60 if paid within 14 days. I was three quarters of an hour over my time. I have paid it as have panicked and do not like owing money. Can anyone tell me if this is a legitimate company and do they have a right to charge me. Also is there an appropriate letter to send them if it’s in my favour. Thanks. Jan

Too late if you paid it , yes they can invoice you , but only a judge can decide if it requires payment , in court
Read the newbies FAQ sticky thread near the top of the forum , in Announcements , third thread down from the top
Yes it's a legitimate car parking company
Yes they can send a PCN invoice
Too late to appeal , but complain to the coop2 -
The horse has bolted for you now ... you paid ? Euro are legitimate, well as much as they can be in the parking scam industry.janhodgetts said:I have received a parking charge notice for parking at my local Coop from Euro Car Parks for £60 if paid within 14 days. I have paid it as have panicked and do not like owing money.Wow. Then you came here too late. You paid a scam industry, so out of control that the Government is stepping in:
https://www.gov.uk/government/consultations/parking-code-enforcement-framework/outcome/parking-code-enforcement-framework-consultation-responseNo chance, you paid them! This entire forum tells people not to do that, and how to appeal and win. You now can't do that.
Also is there an appropriate letter to send them if it’s in my favour.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
