Morning, hugs if you need one. Sorry to hear about your Mum Gers, the diuretics should do the trick, so good you have a helpful Doctor. Dumpling, I hope the leg dressing is not too painful for you.
Bright morning, heat is off until after lunch, once the sun moves round to the back garden the sitting room gets cold quite quickly, I put on a fleece otherwise my hands go blue.
Interviewed a new gardener yesterday, first thing he did when looking at the herbaceous border was pull a handful of weeds out!! He is coning back this afternoon. There are a couple of roots of buttercups that need to come out and we can also split and move a couple of plants. I will get him to help me turn the lily out of its pot into a bigger one.
DB will be out seeing to his veg, some of the tomato plants are due to go to their new home tomorrow. The rest will go on Monday when my cleaner comes.
I did manage to get the binding for Niblets quilt cut and sewn, so when I collect the quilt I will be able to bind it. I am planning on embroidering the label this morning ready to go on with the binding.
Fish and chips tonight, There are a couple of individual trifle in the fridge will have those for dessert.

Good morning, beautiful day again but boy was it cold first thing. I have my hairdresser coming today too, must be 6 months since as I just missed out before this last lockdown.Last time he came he said after so long not working & cutting hair , he felt like he'd lost a bit of confidence, I know he didn't cut off as much as normal. He'll have his work cut out today, but since I had Covid it really seems to be falling out more than usual. I thought it was just me but then I saw something in the paper about Trinny Wood hall & she was saying the same so I googled and it seems it is a 'thing'.We went to bee & q and bought some plants to replenish the pots on our newly laid patio, I did some last night and will finish the others later. For tea last night we had a 'posh ' ploughmans with other tapas like bits added in. DH said I should do it more often then I wouldn't need to cook - is he trying to tell me something must be 6 months since as I just missed out before this last lockdown.Last time he came he said after so long not working & cutting hair , he felt like he'd lost a bit of confidence, I know he didn't cut off as much as normal. I got some nice burgers for tea tonight, another easy meal !Dumpling your legs sound so sore, I hope you're more comfortable after the nurse has been.Nelski- hope your hands improve soon.Gers love the photo, good to know DMs breathing is better nowBella glad to hear of your house sale.Snoozer sorry Steve is feeling poorly, a lot of men don't seem to like sitting still, I think DH does far too much- still working a physical job at 68, then cream crackered when he gets home, has his tea then usually falls asleep. Morning all
Bright and sunny here but a bit chilly hopefully it will warm up later, I had a phone call from a friend this morning we stayed on the phone for about an hour it was lovely to catch up with him.
Will take the hounds to the park after this and then come back and have a clear through, the bulk of the cleaning can wait till tomorrow when everyone is here to help
Pizza and salad for dinner so nice and easy, and I have my click and collect to pick up at lunch time.
Gers I hope the tablets help your dear mum xxx
Dumpling I hope the dressing change is not too painful, I do feel your pain as I had a dressing stuck to my boob and its not nice when they have to take it off, it is over really quickly though so hopefully it wont be too painful xx
Thinking of Nels and her poorly hands xx
 Have good days all xxx11

From a very chilly start the day is now glorious. I've been out to collect some new bedding I'd ordered from Marks, it's so lovely - just plain white with embroidered bees on.It's great to read about gardening, haircuts and days out, it won't be long until we too are allowed to visit places. I hope that Steve is OK today snoozer.DM is much brighter today and her breathing is almost back to what it was before the fluid build up. Her complexion is far too rosy, she's normally very pale. The GP is coming back on Tuesday so I'll wait until then to ask.I hope that everyone can really enjoy the beautiful day.12

Mr F spoke to neighbour who told us about squirrels on our roof. We still don't know where they got in.
Yesterday I looked up at the house and decided that we should have new fascias - may be the wooden ones are rotted somewhere making entry easy. I didn't have the fascias done when we had new windows and other renovations as was running out of money.
Lovely day here. Going out to post a Birthday card later.
