Wood burners of 5kW or less don't normally require extra ventilation to be installed. They rely on the natural ventilation in any house. But if the house is very well sealed, there could be problems. And extractor fans in a well sealed house can be dangerous with wood burners. If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.1 -
Section J recommends 300mm2 vents for the first 5kw, but it's not law. Your stove is 5kw so is on the borderline. Nowadays a lot of people have tightened up their houses, so although not up to new build standards, the natural ventilation isn't what it used to be.0

I'm not sure if 300mm² can be right - that's only 15mm by 20mm....1

I recently had my toilet ball !!!!!! inlet valve changed, the plumber put in a new inlet valve and not the ball type. There is a loud noise after the toilet is flushed, it’s called water hammer. Now the copper pipe is leaking where the inlet valve is joined to the copper pipe. I rang the plumber and he is coming back on Monday to fix it.
Shall I insist he replace it with ball !!!!!! valve?0 -

A small air brick will give that amount easily.
Plastic air bricks don't look as good as terracotta but are about 4 times as efficient with the amount of air flow.1
