I bought a Bosch sander from Lawson-HIS in Sept last year but only opened the packaging last week when my barrel planters arrived. After few days of sanding the oak barrel planters today the Bosch sander has a bolt dropping off which I cannot find anywhere to secure it back. The belt has become loose and no longer be able to work properly. I contacted Lawson-HIS and got a standard email reply asking me to contact Bosch instead. I paid Lawson-HIS £75 for this Bosch sander which only lasted for few days of use. What shall I do now? Thank you

It will have a 1 year warranty so use that, the information on how to use the warranty will be in the box.
You have no rights at this point to make Lawson-HIS deal with this for you so why bother when Bosch may very well sort it out for you.
You can worry about your consumer rights if that fails.2
