Morning all, the sun is shining again.I had a really bad day yesterday as I couldn't get the black dog off my feet. Thankfully I feel lighter and brighter today having shared my thoughts and problems with a very good person. You know who you areToday I have put a clothes wash on and also stripped the bed, the bedding will be washed next. The washing can go outside on my "no longer leaning" whirly and not draped around the house like Wishy Washy's laundry ! I shall clean upstairs and the bathroom and then re-make the bed, this afternoon I shall take my seat in the outdoor library although the book I'm reading is set in a snow storm 😀 Hopefully Nels can get better soon and open the Spa.I'm playing the " don't know what to have for tea today " game again, I'll have a freezer dip later and see what I can come up with. I don't feel like doing a lot of cooking today, so something simple will suffice.taff I'm sorry the aches and pains have returned. Hope you can get some relief asap. Enjoy the garden centre. I shall look up the pasty site too, they sound delicious.csarina enjoy the new car.Nels hugs to you and your poorly hands.Hugs to all the poorly ones and their carers. I hope those having a day out have a great day. Sending healing vibes to anyone with health problems.Take care, stay safe and keep well.nan xxFailure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently11

Great sounding pasties taff - my mouth is watering!Nan - sorry that the black dog is lurking, I hope that the sun can help shift it.Well, the remote has been moved as has the tall storage unit, I rewarded Alan with a coffee and some chocolate mints. He's also taken away the useless 'thing' from my room. DM isn't too well so I'm waiting for a call back from the doctor. Meanwhile I'm busy relocating some of my stuff. The Kilner jar of 'Millenium Plums' in brandy was tough to open though Alan managed it with a bit of heft. I'm now draining them ready for the food waste bag. Such a shame!12

A neighbour said she saw squirrels on our roof. This morning in bed - I could hear something in the loft - Mr F is deaf so no help from him on the listening.
Goodness knows how much getting rid of squirrels in the loft is going to cost.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

Afternoon everyone,
Just been catching up while I ate my tea.
Scarlet I hope you enjoyed Alnwick Gardens - I haven't been for several years now but my mum and I often used to take my girls when they were little girls. They used to go in swimming costumes with their clothes on top and always used to get soaked in the water features. They lnoved it! Little one is the right age for her first trip - DD and I will have to take her in my next school holidays - she'll love running about on the grass.
When I was little we lived in Amble and often used to go to Alnmouth beach in the school holidays.
Little one thinks I have a beach in my garden! It has at last got warm enough to fill her new sand pit - oh the excitement when she saw it!
Well I'm going to get washed up and then water my plants - the water butt is going to be empty soon! Especially as little one has worked out how to turn it on.....7
