Club Llyods rewards

Hi, I am wanting to switch my current account and looking for an account that offers some extras, I wanted to know about club lloyds account rewards, I asked their CS about it and did not get a clear answer about how much I would get off with their 'get up to 15% cashback' reward,
One reward is Sky/Costa/coop, and are all things I use, particularly my Sky direct debit is high and so getting 15% off would be attractive, for example, but not knowing what you get exactly and being told 'it depends' is not helpful. I was told I would have to get the account, choose that reward, and at that point I will see what I will get from it.
Has anyone got this account and enlighten me, or give some examples of their savings with club llyods. TIA!

I have Club Lloyds and only Everyday Offer currently showing to me in the app is 10% cashback on JoJo Maman Bébé.
Santander app has this and a few more offers including £50 off a Sky signup.
Even when Sky run offers on Club Lloyds it will probably only be signup not ongoing charges.2 -
I have 43 Everyday Offers currently showing including the "Earn £50 Cashback when you join or recontract with Sky TV". A variety of discounts with retailers, cafes, newspapers, broadband/mobile companies, food delivery firms, etc. The offers are nearly always on 'your next purchase' rather than being an ongoing discount and will change from month to month ; once the offer is made available for you to click on, it usually has a validity date of about 2-8 weeks.Alexland said:I have Club Lloyds and only Everyday Offer currently showing to me in the app is 10% cashback on JoJo Maman Bébé.

As already mentioned, the offers vary from time to time, although some of them seem to be repeated quite often. Before the first lockdown last year I used to get lots of offers for discounts on meals at various pub chains, i.e. Sizzling Pubs, Ember Inns etc. and I used these fairly often. Understandably, I haven't had any of these offers over the last 12 months, but I'm hoping they return after June if the lockdown restrictions are eased as planned.
Sky offers are usually discounts on the initial payment for a new contract, or a contract renewal. They aren't ongoing discounts on monthly subscriptions.
By the way, these Everyday Offers are not limited to the Club Lloyds account; you also get them with the ordinary Lloyds Classic Account. The only condition is usually that you make the payment with any Lloyds debit or credit card.

I checked again and only 1 offer for me and have never seen more than 2-3 at once. I don't see why they would bother targeting them given they are about the same as you would find on the average cashback or employee perks website.

I've never heard of many of these companies, and there's only two or three that I would use, but many people would find the other discounts useful.0 -
I use it as my main personal account but never the debit card (but would if doing an offer) if that makes any difference to the volume they show as available. Not that bothered but wonder we have done to get such different offers.

I've found that you need to use the debit card in a retailer to get the offers, for instance if you don't use it in Boots you won't get Boots offers. I rarely use a debit card for shopping and consequently don't get offers

If you start using your debit card occasionally you should find you get more offers.Alexland said:I use it as my main personal account but never the debit card (but would if doing an offer) if that makes any difference to the volume they show as available. We suggest offers for places you might like to try, based on retailers you have previously shopped or set up a Direct Debit with.

If the view is that offers are driven by usage, then the flip side there is that many of these names are very familiar and come up regularly on my Amex card (as well as Natwest, Santander etc) - clearly certain retailers 'do the rounds' on a variety of different banks offers.EarthBoy said:

So given a choice, I'd rather be getting them via a credit card rather than a debit one. And the Amex ones still give 1.25% cashback on top of the offer...0 -
Aah thanks that answers it. For the offers mentioned above it's not worth starting to use their debit card. The only debit card transaction I ever do is from my Halifax Reward account (£500+ once a month) and everything else goes on 0% credit cards matched against cash savings.EarthBoy said:If you start using your debit card occasionally you should find you get more offers.
