If I capture an image of part of a Windows 10 screen, can I use Paint to resize it, so that it would fill an A4 sheet when printed?

Hi
I believe so.
Whether it will look grainy or not, I know not.Forum, Agin 'em or Just Neutral?0 -
Yes paint allows you to do this, or if you save as a image you can use photos and select print as A4 on the sheet size.0

Resize or crop? The former will give you a distorted image if you want to print it fully on A4 as the aspect ratios are different. You can of course maintain the aspect ratio, in which case you'll get empty space on the margins of the print. You can of course crop the image to meet the required A4 aspect but then you'll lose part of the image.goodValue said:If I capture an image of part of a Windows 10 screen, can I use Paint to resize it, so that it would fill an A4 sheet when printed?
Of course you don't have to actually resize the image itself, just resize it to fit in the print dialogue.0 -
Or just select fit to page when printing?Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0

You may need to remember the old motto that "you can easily remove detail from a graphic, but you cannot easily add detail".1

I tried Fit to Page, which gave a reasonable result, and, as suggested was grainy. It caused a small amount of cropping at the edges, which was not a problem in this case.1

Hi
Screen prints would fit/suit a landscape page orientation better?Forum, Agin 'em or Just Neutral?0 -
Are you increasing the number of pixels in Resize this might reduce the graininess. Not a program I use so no idea if it will help but worth trying if you have not so far.goodValue said:I tried Fit to Page, which gave a reasonable result, and, as suggested was grainy.0 -
Paste into Word doc landscape, resize/crop away.0
