Laying Lino on an uneven concrete garage floor.

Hi
I am turning part of my garage into a dog grooming room for my wife, now the concrete floor is uneven and I have got 3mm Fibreboards (2.4 x 1.2 m) to put down to level then going to put Lino on top.
Is fibreboard ok to use to level floor and do I wet before use.
And do I need to use adhesive for Lino to stick to the Fibreboard or can it just be laid on top.
Thanks for any advice.

Why not use some of those interlocking garage floor tiles. Probably a lot more forgiving on an uneven floor.0

Surely 3 mm fibre board will just take up the shape of the uneven subfloor over time. A lasting solution would be self levelling screed, then fibreboard as underlay, topped with lino.

If there is any damp in the concrete, which there probably is with a garage floor, the wood fibre boards will go moldy pretty quick. I'd go with the interlocking floor tiles. If you want a real flat surface for the lino, put down some sheets of 12mm ply on top of the tiles.
Any language construct that forces such insanity in this case should be abandoned without regrets. –

Sound like self levelling compound is the way to go.Never done that before but watched a few YouTube videos this morning about doing it.Take it the Lino can just go on top of it once level and no need for the Fiberboards then, I was worried about them getting wet anyway.
Thanks all.0
