Scart problems

Hello
I have a DVD player which only has a scart lead outlet (excuse lack of techy correct naming!) but my TV has no scart socket. Last time I had this problem I ended up having to buy a new tv but I don't really want to do this just for the bedroom portable.
Is there a scart to tv ariel lead or an adaptor that you can buy or is my TV so old now its had its chips? I've looked in quite a few shops around here with no luck at all
Can any one help please?
PD

Hi PurpleDuck, if you have or could get hold of an old video cassette recorder you could feed the scart through the video on the external/AV input and then tuning your tv into the vcr on a spare channel . This means you are using the rf modulator in the vcr rather buying a seperate one. Good luck whatever you decide to try. keith1950 :rudolf:0

Thank you. I'd have hoped you could have just bought a lead with a scart on one end and an coax bit on the other but that shows how techy I am

I'm loathe to spend that much on an adaptor me being the MSE follower that I am so I will dig out the video and give that a whirl first.
Thank you for the replies0
