Improvements of home security. Non DIY man

I am looking to improve the security of my house. If one is burgled or is involved in bad driving, it seems the police have their own priority, and unless you have video, not interested. Here's a ref number, goodbye.
So it seems we the general public need to have CCTV installed. Preferably wireless, (no cables everywhere), and poss 3 cameras. I guess the new Mobiles have a patch through to your phone to alert you, anywhere in the world. My first port of call seems curry's, though there is Amazon (no thanks). Where else exists that is better than those. There must be a decent shop in the UK. Or do I have to revert to a security installer, such as Verisure (advertising at the moment), and pay much more?
Any experts out there?

Amazon sell everything you need1

If you are really Non DIY man you will need to get it professionally installed. Wireless cameras generally require a mains supply for each camera but do have the advantage of not requiring cables running all over the place.

Have a look at eufy security cameras. I have 3, totally wireless and my battery is lasting over 6 months so far.
To charge them, I bought a big USB battery pack and a long USB cable to charge them, so I dont even need to remove them from the walls. I'll just charge in situe.
I have the Eufy 2c cameras.1 -

Treasure the moments that you have. Savour them for as long as you can for they will never come back again.3 -
We have blink cameras, 4 of them, all wireless and give good quality both day and night, it also has a microphone so, if you wanted to, you can speak through it, ( release the hounds I guess)
they do have batteries but they last a long time , they can be de activated relatively easily through your phone, or tablet should you need to, ( if we’re out in the garden we can deactivate that particular camera to avoid it constantly going off.1 -
Have you also looked at the small things you can do to put burglars off like making your boundaries difficult to get into and out of?They don't want difficult and most of all an easy get away if disturbed. If you want something that can be used in court it has to be high quality. A good idea to take advice on what is needed.
I can rise and shine - just not at the same time!

How do you reach the cameras to recharge? Presumably you don't leave the USB cable hanging down the wall all the time.

Another good deterrent is a motion-sensor light. I got the JML Everbrite Outdoor Solar Light which requires just a screw.

Thank you all for taking the time to reply. All comments count.
Rest assured there is a night light with a PIR sensor. We have also replaced the back gate as it was too rickety. I've also put prickles on fencing around the garden (on top of fencing). A door lock on the garage, which is a pin code. Whilst the up-and-over garage door has bolts with padlocks. So, a fair bit of progress.
From your comments, it's clear the cameras must have power, so that suggests supply from the main box, through the attic. Eufy and Swann seem to rule the roost, and a kit seems £250.00. I think as a non-DIY, if I got a security company to fit (plumbing power into the mains means an electrician), I should budget on doubling the cost to £500.00 for a professional to fit it.
Thanks again0 -

For info - my cctv system is what is called PoE or 'power over ethernet' - run a single network cable from the recorder to each camera and it provides both power and the signal. Each camera cable can be up to 100m in length. Of course the recorder needs to be plugged in to a socket but thats the only power I have to supply to my system.
I am sure there are pros and cons of PoE and non-PoE and if you are looking at professional install then it may come up and may not even change their price but I thought id mention it as you might not need an electrician.
Hope this helps.1
