Sometimes it’s the little things

We went shopping today. I was feeling a bit bleeeurgh because I’d had an injection and my arm was hurting. Just outside the supermarket a little girl approached me and gave me a daffodil. She ran over to her mother, turned round and waved at me and gave me a big smile.
Sore arm forgotten, I suddenly felt good.

I bet it's the most beautiful daffodil in the world
You're truly blessed

I was litterpicking on Sunday and a man came up to me and insisted on giving me £5 he said because he'd often thought he should get involved but hadn't. I said I'd give it to charity; on Sunday evening I saw on Facebook somebody raising money to pay for a vet's bill incurred by a charity so I donated £5 to them.
