Changing Euros to Pounds

Sell them!

I expect this is common knowlege, but when retuning from Europe lots of places eg : banks post office , travel agents will willingly buy your spare Euros but the rates are pretty bad.

I came back from France with 165 E and popped into Thomas Cook and rth post office to see what the buy-back rate was.

Thomas cook was about 1.6 and the post offic was 1.57 I think.

The selling rates were about 1.42 so I put a notice on the notice board at work offering them for £113 (that equates to 1.46)

Within a couple of hours they were sold!
A bargain for the buyer and a good deal for me.
