Tin snips recommendation

I'm looking for snips to cut 0.9mm sheet steel straight without a serrated edge. Looked everywhere - can anyone point me in the right direction?

Comments

  • 1. 0.9 mm is a bit on the thick side for cutting with tin snips.
    2. Have a look at Axminster tools.

I can get snips that would cut up to 1mm, but they are !!!!!! serated.

Maybe a nibbler in an electric drill would do it?

Got one of those. Great for irregular shapes, not so good for straight lines. The cut edge is also a little rough, but nothing an angle grinder or sharp file won't fix.

Eclipse 14" Tin Snips. Sold in lots of places, but here is a link to them at one supplier Eclipse ESGP-14 General Purpose Snips 350mm (14") from Lawson HIS (lawson-his.co.uk)
