Sweepstakes Official Rules

These Terms and Conditions prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials.

Entry instructions are deemed to form part of the Terms and Conditions and by participating, all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the Terms and Conditions. Please retain a copy for your information. Please note nothing in these Terms restricts the participant's statutory rights as a consumer and if required advice can be obtained from a Trading Standards Office or Citizens Advice Bureau for further information relating to these statutory rights.

Eligibility

1. This promotion is open to United Kingdom (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland) residents aged 18 or over, holding a Mastercard® and registered on www.priceless.com, excluding employees and their immediate families of Mastercard (the "Promoter"), its subsidiaries, other group companies, its agents, or anyone else professionally connected with this promotion.
2. The promotion will run from 11:59 on 31/03/2021 to 23:59 on 28/04/2021 inclusive ("Promotional Period").
3. To enter the prize draw, Mastercard cardholders must visit the Sweepstake page on Priceless.com, sign into their account (new customers will need to register by providing their email address and post code), press "Enter Now" and complete the entry form. Cardholders will need to confirm their full name and phone number. Cardholders will also need to tick a box confirming they are 18+ and accept the promotional Terms and Conditions and acknowledge the Privacy Notice.
4. By submitting an entry to the to the prize draw, you understand and agree that you are providing information to Mastercard. You accept that your first name, last name, email address and contact phone number will be captured for up to 3 months after the end of the promotion for the purpose of contacting you if you are a winner. This information will be processed in accordance with the Campaign Privacy Notice.
5. Only one entry per cardholder is permitted during the Promotional Period. Entries (bulk or otherwise) made from trade, consumer groups or third parties will not be accepted. If it becomes apparent that a participant is using a computer(s) to circumvent this condition by, for example, the use of 'script', 'brute force' or any other automated means, that person's entries will be all disqualified and any prize award will be void.
6. Entrants who do not give correct details or those who make an entry on someone else's behalf will be disqualified, at the Promoter's discretion.
7. Numerous factors outside the control of the Promoter may interfere with the operation of the website. The promoter does not therefore guarantee continuous uninterrupted or secure access to website.
8. Incomplete, illegible, misdirected or late entries will not be accepted. Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of delivery. The Promoter takes no responsibility for entries delayed, incomplete or lost due to technical reasons or otherwise.
9. No purchase necessary, however, internet access is required.
   
   

   Prizes and Fulfilment

10. Entries must be received by 23:59 on 28/04/2021 ("Closing Date"). The prize draw will take place on 29/04/2021 under the supervision of an independent adjudicator who will randomly select the winner from all eligible entries. The winners will be notified by email and phone via the details provided on registration within two working days of the close of the promotion. Entrants are encouraged to monitor their email and phone connections during this time in case they are a winner.
11. The winners will have 24 hours from first being contacted to accept their prizes by following the instructions provided in the winning notifications. The winners will be required to provide their home addresses in order to claim their prize. Failure to do this, or if the winner is ineligible, will result in the prize being forfeit and the Promoter will award the prize to a reserve winner selected at the same time as the original winner. The process will be repeated until the prize is awarded. The decision of the Promoter is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
12. 6 x prizes, available to win.

    • 5 x Runner Up prizes, each consisting of:
      • One log-in for the virtual Mastercard Pre-show Party, taking place on 11 May 2021;
      • Five vinyls, one from each of the Mastercard Album of the Year nominees;
      • A BRITs goody bag.
13. The prizes are as stated and nothing else is included.
14. The prizes are date and event specific and cannot be transferred or postponed to a later date.
15. The Mastercard Pre-show Party will take place on 11/05/2021. The virtual event will be made available via an online streaming service and will be subject to the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy of this service. By participating in the virtual experience, the winners agree to be bound by such service's Terms and Conditions. The Promoter is not responsible for any loss or damages caused, or costs incurred, as a result of winners' use of any such application or platform, or any connectivity or other technical issues that may occur during the experience.
16. Participants will need to have the necessary technology in place to take part in the virtual Mastercard Pre-show Party experience, e.g. internet connection and a PC or similar.
17. The physical prize elements will be delivered directly to the winners' address by 11/05/2021. Each prize element will be delivered individually and a signature may be required upon delivery.
18. There is no cash or other alternative for any of the prizes in whole or in part except that in the event of circumstances outside of its control, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute any of the prizes with one of equal or greater value at the choosing and discretion of the Promoter.
19. Unless otherwise specified, prize items are not covered by warranties and cannot be exchanged or returned with retailers.
20. The Promoter will share winners' personal data with Big Group Limited for the purposes of prize fulfilment, in accordance with applicable law. Big Group's Privacy Policy can be viewed at www.biggroup.co.uk/privacy.
21. If fulfilment or any element of this promotion will be delayed or affected due to the continuing Covid-19 pandemic and resulting Government restrictions, all entrants affected will be contacted by the Promoter and kept updated of any unavoidable changes to the promotional dates, revised fulfilment dates or prize.
    

    Other Important Information

22. All winners take part in the prize at their own risk and to the fullest extent allowed by law; the Promoter accepts no liability with regard to such prizes whatsoever. The Promoter will have no liability in relation to the conduct of the winner or their guest, nor in connection with any circumstances outside its control with respect to a prize once delivered to the winner. The winner is subject to the policies and Terms and Conditions of any and all third parties involved in the fulfilment of this prize. Any Terms and Conditions applicable to the prizes have been provided to the fullest extent possible.
23. Mastercard reserves the right at any time to cancel, modify, reschedule or change the Mastercard Pre-Show Party or any aspect of it, if, at its sole discretion, it is not capable of being conducted as specified. This will apply in any of, but is not limited to, the following circumstances: force majeure events, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of Mastercard. In the event of this, Mastercard will endeavour to find a suitable alternative. If delivery of any of the prize elements is delayed due to Covid-19, the winners will be notified by the Promoter as soon as possible.
24. Mastercard does not control responses provided by any third party host or presenter of an experience, and statements made by any such parties, including without limitation, brand ambassadors and celebrities, may not reflect the views of Mastercard. In addition, Mastercard does not endorse and is not making any recommendation regarding any products, services or other material that may be presented or described by any such third party during the experience.
    

    General

25. The Promoter will make available the winner's surname and county upon request by emailing mastercard.promotions@biggroup.co.uk within 3 months after the Closing Date of this promotion. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse any or all such requests. Entrants can object to disclosure, or request that disclosure be limited in scope by contacting mastercard.promotions@biggroup.co.uk. The Promoter may nevertheless disclose the information to the Advertising Standards Authority if required to do so.
26. Prizes are personal to the winners and sale or offering for sale, transfer, resale, donation, or exchange of any element of the prizes is strictly prohibited (including, without limitation, in person or online via an online auction website or online ticket resale marketplace). Failure to comply with any of the Terms and Conditions may result in the prize being forfeited and the Promoter may at its absolute discretion dispose of the prize without liability to the winner. Mastercard does not endorse and is not making any recommendation regarding any products, services or other materials included in the prizes.
27. The Promoter will not be held responsible for the winner and/or their guest not taking advantage of the prize due to health or any other reason.
28. The prize must be taken by the winners unless otherwise agreed in writing by the Promoter.
29. The Promoter, its agents, Mastercard and BRIT Awards Limited will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person's negligence) in connection with this promotion or accepting or using the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (including personal injury, death and fraud) in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law.
30. The Promoter reserves the right to verify all entries and winners and to refuse to award prizes or withdraw prize entitlement where there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of these Terms and Conditions, the spirit of the promotion or any instructions forming part of this promotion's entry requirements or otherwise where a participant has gained unfair advantage in participating in the promotion or won using fraudulent means.
31. If for any reason any aspect of this promotion is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of infection by computer virus, network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other cause beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter may in its sole discretion modify or suspend the promotion or invalidate any affected entries. If an act, omission, event or circumstance occurs which is beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter and which prevents the Promoter from complying with these Terms and Conditions the Promoter will not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing its obligation.
32. If any of these clauses should be determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable then it shall be severed and deleted from these Terms and Conditions and the remaining clauses shall survive and remain in full force and effect.
33. These Terms and Conditions (and any non-contractual issues which arise out of or in connection with them) shall be governed by English law with and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
34. The Promoter will only use the personal details supplied for the administration of the promotion and for no other purpose, unless we have your consent. You acknowledge that the Promoter may pass such information to its third-party agency, solely for the purposes of administering the promotion. Your personal details will at all times be kept confidential and in accordance with current Data Protection legislation. This all looks absolutely genuine and legitimate but I've decided not to enter because I don't like the fact that they want full details of my mastercard, right down the the start and expiry date and full card number. Call me overly suspicious but I'm not keen on putting all those details in a competition 'entry form'.
